The
earlier version (IE5+ ony, no plugins, very lightweight)

Highly interactive and efficient vector mapping
AxioMap renders map data as vectors in your Web browser, using either Vector Markup Language (built-in in all Windows versions of Internet Explorer, starting with version 5), or Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) plugin from Adobe (www.adobe.com/svg). SVG is a widely accepted W3C specification for XML-based vector graphics. Vector objects on your map can be assigned any behaviors in response to user actions, including tooltips, context-sensitive menus, speech response, etc.

Fast thematic mapping and querying
With AxioMap, you can quickly create thematic maps based on multiple attribute datasets. Beyond that, you can compute and map new variables from existing variables, even if they come from different datasets. AxioMap also provides facilities for querying currently mapped variables, and developing more complex queries iteratively, by adding to or selecting from the query set.

AxioMap 1.5 includes converters from ArcGIS, ArcView and MapInfo, and VML and SVG-based browser viewers. Your vector map can be easily integrated with various remote ArcIMS and WMS servers, and in various combinations. Demo notes > |
